pin cushion

i loved this idea when i first saw it. the pin cushions they sell in the store don't work very well in my opinion. not sturdy, don't hold enough, etc....
so i picked up this frame at marshalls for $4.95 and it was already painted pink- loved it!
after taking out the glass i traced it onto a empty cereal box front, cut it out, put some poly stuffing on it, wrapped some fabric around and hot glued the  fabric corners together in the middle.
put it into the frame and put the frame backing back on. my fabric is stuffed enough that it pokes out through the frame about 2 inches.
the frame stands on my sewing table next to my machine and is perfect for sewing. of course, now it is almost completely filled with pins instead of the few shown in this pic! :)
