Welcome Fall

Welcome back fall. Tuesday was a perfect day leading into fall. It had been raining all day, the air was cool and it just smelled like autumn. Late afternoon the rain stopped and all the colors of the trees, grass and flowers were bright and full of life. We had some friends in town from New York (their son is in Pioneer Theater's production of Fiddler on the Roof) and this was their first trip to Utah. We picked them up and drove up Emmigration Canyon to eat at one of our fav places - Ruth's Diner. Unfortunately the outside seating area was closed due to weather but it was perfect nonetheless. Great company, delicious food and I loved that I got to break out some fall pieces. Plaid shirts, sweaters, big jewelry, jeans and boots. I am a summer girl at heart but when it comes to fashion- it could be fall all year round.
