Kitchen Utensil Holder

So today I was rearranging some of my kitchen cupboards and drawers. I have way too many kitchen utensils- some that get used only a few times a year. About twice a year they are all neatly organized in the drawer but usually it is just a mess. So I needed a better solution. I took this old planter and painted it black (with craft paint) and added some red ribbon.

Then I just put all the utensils that I use the majority of the time in it. I put in on the countertop for easy access. Now the drawer holds all the things I occasionally use and this new planter gives me easy access to what I use the most. This whole project, from start to finish, took only about 30 minutes- including drying time. Very easy!
